Time to book a Heart Health Check?

Picture of Free Heart Health Check

Heart disease—and the conditions that lead to it—can happen at any age. High rates of obesity and high blood pressure among younger people (ages 35–64) are putting them at risk for heart disease earlier in life.

Who needs a heart health check?

Heart health checks are recommended for both men and women that are not already known to have heart disease or stroke.

When should I get a heart check-up?

We strongly recommend having a heart health check if you're over 45 years old, and over 35 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. A heart health check can be done as part of a normal check up with your doctor or health practitioner.
