McKinnon Hill Medical Centre is a purpose-built healthcare facility that accommodates a range of medical practitioners who are committed to delivering modern, holistic care to the local community.

The mission is to support the health and wellbeing of the community by providing high-quality facilities and administrative services to independent healthcare professionals. Patients benefit from a diverse range of services made available by general practitioners, specialists, and allied health professionals who consult at this location.

Registrars at McKinnon Hill Medical Centre

This clinic participates in the training of doctors through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) training program and has held accreditation since 2015. It is also an accredited facility through QPA (Quality Practice Accreditation).

A GP Registrar is a fully qualified medical doctor undertaking advanced training to specialise in General Practice. As part of the RACGP program, registrars’ complete placements across various clinics to develop their skills.

McKinnon Hill Medical Centre offers six- or twelve-month placements for registrars in a busy yet supportive environment focused on community and family medicine. These registrars, while already experienced medical professionals, continue to build their expertise. Upon completion of their training and final exams, they become fully qualified general practitioners.

Current registrars consulting at McKinnon Hill Medical Centre include Dr. Elena Mirmilstein and Dr. Alexandra Naiss. They are available for appointments.

Teaching Practice for Nursing Students

McKinnon Hill Medical Centre provides clinical placement opportunities for nursing students from THINK EDUCATION enrolled in the Diploma of Nursing HLT54115. These students are supervised and supported during their placements at the clinic.
