Our Bulk-billing Policy Changed

Dear Existing and New Patients,

Mckinnon Hill Medical Centre will be converting to a mixed billing practice from 15th of May 2023. This means patients will pay a minor out-of-pocket fee of approximately $30 per appointment. Rebates will be processed on the spot by our friendly reception team.

We have tried to keep our practice a bulk billing practice as we feel high quality primary care should be accessible to all. However, the reality is that we are no longer able to sustain this model due to the ever-increasing overheads faced on a daily basis.

Our main purpose is to offer accessible & high-quality primary care to our beloved community. This is why we have decided to continue to bulkbill the following:

Patients with current concession cards,
Pension & health care card holders,
DVA card holders &
Children under 16
