Maintaining healthy, glowing skin starts with a consistent routine. Key steps include:

Cleansing:

Gently remove dirt and oil using a cleanser suited to your skin type.

  • Dry/sensitive skin: Use alcohol-free, creamy cleansers
  • Oily skin: Use acidic cleansers to manage oil

Avoid soap-based products and massage cleanser for at least 20 seconds.

Sun Protection:

UV rays cause premature aging and increase cancer risk.

  • Avoid sun exposure from 10 am–3 pm
  • Use broad-spectrum SPF 15+ sunscreen
  • Reapply every 3–4 hours and after swimming
  • Wear protective clothing and hats

Note: Sun protection may reduce vitamin D—supplement if necessary.

Hydration & Nutrition:

  • Drink 2+ litres of water daily
  • Eat foods rich in omega-3s (e.g., salmon, flaxseed, walnuts)
  • Include antioxidants (fruits, veggies, seafood) for collagen support

Dry Skin Tips:

  • Take short, lukewarm showers
  • Apply moisturiser right after bathing
  • Use cream-based products in winter
